Seeing Beauty in Hurt (and 4 Verses to Get Through It)

That after the rain, comes sun.

This endless cycle is the normal cycle of life. The first thing children do after being born is to cry. Now, would God allow a newborn to cry unless there is some good in that? Definitely not.

If you are going through a difficult time now, you should talk to God. Ask for His help, but don’t ask Him to take away the sorrow. Ask Him to enlighten you, to help you see the good in the places you only see negativity. This is the ideal way to find peace.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Ps.147:3

What does this Bible verse mean? Notice that it doesn’t say that God will keep people safe from being hurt. However, God will heal those in need for help and bind up their wounds.

God, your God, will restore everything you lost; He’ll have compassion on you; He’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.

Deuteronomy 30:3
